New Assisted Living Apartment Homes
Here on 100 acres of rolling foothills and farmland surrounded by the magnificent Blue Ridge Mountains, The Culpeper is one of the best Assisted Living facilities in Virginia. We offer new, maintenance-free studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments to choose from. Each provides a kitchenette, private bath with special safety features, oversized closets, ceiling fans, large windows with mountain views, and a 24-hour emergency response system. All utilities, except telephone and cable TV, are included.
Our beautiful new Assisted Living community is designed with convenience, accessibility and all the comforts of home in mind. Knowing the importance of socialization, residents enjoy the library; game room; and large, inviting common and lobby areas. They all foster friendly get-togethers, great conversation and cozy times around the fireplace on a winter’s day.
Of course, dining is a joyful experience. You’ll savor three delicious meals a day from a menu full of tasty choices. All are prepared by our professional culinary team using fresh, seasonal ingredients and graciously served in our beautiful main dining room or the Village Café.

Contract Options
We offer two separate contract options for Assisted Living at The Culpeper. The first is a fee-for-service continuing care contract. It requires a one-time entrance fee and a monthly fee for Assisted Living apartment residents. The entrance and monthly fees vary depending on the type of apartment floor plan you select and the number of occupants.
With a continuing care contract, you’ll guarantee availability to a higher level of care if or when the need arises. You’ll also receive a 10% discount on higher levels of care for the rest of your life and benevolence if you outlive your financial resources through no fault of your own.
If you prefer to move in without paying an entrance fee, we offer a month-by-month rental fee contract option with a one-month, nonrefundable fee.
With the rental contract option, if you require an increased level of care — whether for a short recuperative stay or a long-term need — you only pay for Skilled Nursing Care, Memory Care, Rehabilitation or other health services on an as-needed basis at the going market rate.
Both contract options include:

- Maintenance of residence, including housekeeping
- Use of all the community’s exceptional amenities and services
- Transportation for local medical appointments, cultural and social trips
