Housekeeping Supervisor Eliza Jasper Honored with Hospitality Award

Leave Them Smiling! is a hospitality training program developed by LifeSpire of Virginia for team members at all levels of the organization, including The Culpeper. It is a hospitality initiative developed by a senior living community for senior living communities.

The goal of the program is to ensure The Culpeper is a vibrant, interesting place that offers interesting social activities, restaurant-quality food, outstanding amenities and services. Instilling hospitality into the culture at The Culpeper involves weekly huddles that focus on a specific hospitality principle, team member recognition and ongoing training for new team members and train-the-trainers.

Over the past several month, The Culpeper’s leadership team received several nominations for the Leave Them Smiling! recognition program. The nominations can be from residents or fellow team members and we are pleased to announce that Housekeeping Supervisor Eliza Jasper was chosen as the March recipient of a $100 voucher.

“Eliza exemplifies the ingredients in the Leave Them Smiling program: teamwork, integrity, kindness, joy, compassion and graciousness,” said Executive Director Jim Jacobsen. “Eliza works extra shifts, is always prepared to do whatever is needed of her and much more. Everyone who meets her knows she is special, and we appreciate her more than words can convey.”
